“ Good coffee, saw Sasquatch, owner, Jay, works there on the daily. Can’t ask for more from a local coffee spot. ”
“ Our iced coffees were delicious - so many syrup options (lavender, vanilla, brown sugar cinnamon, etc.). There is an inside seating area, outside seating, and a few designated customer parking spots. Fun merch and products for sale too. It’s in a great location right on the main strip of shops and restaurants! ”
“ Such a great find in the downtown area and they roast their own (there is a dead head joke in there somewhere). The owner is very friendly and well versed in all things coffee. We had a latte and a flat white, which were both excellent. Speaking of friendly, not only did he give us a run down of St Michael's, he also ran into us later on Main Street, checked in on us, then gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. Highly recommend dropping in if you are in town. They also have an online store!! ”
“ Stopped in St Michaels for the 4th of July weekend and got coffee here every day. Atmosphere was a vibe. Owner is awesome and will chat you up about anything and everything coffee. Its really great knowing all beans are roasted in house. I ordered an Iced Latte and Espresso shot, both were delicious. I will definitely come back next year, until then I'll order beans online from their shop. Thank you for the excellent service. ”
“ Friendly owners, chill environment and the best coffee I have ever had! You can taste the care and quality of their blends. My spouse and I are opposites with our coffees(hot vs iced) and both ways were fantastic. Only downside was we didn't get a chance to stop in before leaving town. I'd relocate simply for their coffee. ”
“ I know this is a late review...but I visited (St. Michael's) Blue Heron Coffee on July 11th. The place is very cute and quaint. Who knew that they roasted their coffee in-house, small batches?!?!...I had to try!! I can't remember what the flavor/roast of the day was...but it was good! I met Heather and Jay (owners), who were very friendly and accommodating (as I asked a lot of questions). I became super excited to notice that they have a coffee named When Doves Cry...and I LOVE Prince!!! As Jay learned of my love of Prince, the next thing I knew Prince was playing in the coffee house!! They are so cool! I purchased some coffee and other items. I will definitely be back. Great coffee, food, and customer service. ”
“ What a great little shop! I had the iced tea, and it was amazing. Earl Grey infused with mallow flower and licorice root. I highly recommend it. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is quaint and adorable. ”
“ Blue Heron was a very laid back and friendly place. Construction was going on to install a roaster accessory - we want to come back to see it in action! Drinks were good, I had the iced chai latte which was a bit too sweet for my taste but my husband loved it. He ordered a double shot of espresso. They were using their “When Doves Cry” bean (medium roast) that day for shots. He (an espresso enthusiast) says it was a little flat in flavor and lacked the crema aesthetic but it hit the spot and wasn’t bad overall. We bought a bag of the bean and plan to try it at home. ”
